History
Tesar Industrial Contractors has been an integral part of Cleveland's industrial market for over a century, offering the area services such as heavy machinery moving, plant relocation, on-site machinery moves, plant maintenance and equipment installation.
James Tesar Sr. started the business in 1919 as a local cartage company when most long-distance transportation was done by rail service. The business has diversified to include not only our highly skilled crews, but also a full-service millwright team professionally trained in installing specialized machinery and equipment with the use of optical alignment tools.
Over the past 100 years, the company has done work for the automotive industry, steel mills, heavy manufacturing plants, NASA, and the installation of MRI machines in many local hospitals and clinics. The most recent and prominent project was the erection of the KAWS statue at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in downtown Cleveland.
James Tesar, along with his team at Tesar Industrial Contractors, will continue to move the business ahead with the integrity and high standards of service that have become the benchmark for the business for over 100 years.
